What is Maleforce Mobile?
Maleforce Mobile is a free, fully feature-loaded chat and mobile social network service for gay adults. Downloaded to and fully operational on your mobile phone the Maleforce Mobile application connects you with other users for interaction using location, photos, video and voice. It can be downloaded free of charge from m.maleforce.com and installed on almost any phone. It syncs via Wi-Fi or mobile network.
What features does Maleforce Mobile have?
Maleforce Mobile includes free profile listings with picture, audio and video profiles, location based browsing, comprehensive gay venue listings, audio, video and text messaging features. It features great real time live voice services including chat, personal numbers, automated call forwarding and voicemail. Soon you will have the functionality to check-in to venue.
How do I get Maleforce Mobile?

What devices does Maleforce Mobile work on?
The Maleforce Mobile app will work on all java based phones (which is most of the phones in the market). If you have an Android or iPhone please refer to the specific pages for those devices.
Does it cost anything to use the Maleforce Mobile application?
No. The Maleforce Mobile application is free to download and use. However, in the absence of a Wi-Fi connection, the application uses your iPhone's mobile network connection to access and download content. Please contact your carrier to check if you will be charged for usage, especially if travelling.
Can I use my existing Maleforce.com log in to sign in to the App?
Not at the moment, this feature will be introduced very soon whereby the app will recognize your existing Maleforce.com log in and will display your Maleforce.com profile. Please keep checking the site for updates.
Will the Maleforce Mobile application update the software and add new service features?
Yes. We are actively working to enhance and add to the feature set of the Maleforce Mobile application, and will update the software periodically.
How do I remove the Maleforce Mobile application from my phone?
The Maleforce Mobile application can be removed in the same way as any mobile app can but will vary by manufacturer of your phone. Please refer to your phone manual to find out how to remove the application.
Do I need to register with Maleforce Mobile to use the application?
The Maleforce Mobile application does not require any registration to download and browse, however in order to interact with other users you will need to first register on the Maleforce website.
What if I have feedback or questions about the Maleforce Mobile application?

How do I upload a photo to my profile?
In order to upload a photo to your Maleforce Mobile profile simply log into Maleforce.com, click edit profile and select the Change Profile Photo tab. You will be given the option of uploading a file from your phone or selecting an image from our avatar gallery. On screen instructions will guide you through the upload process.
How many photos can I upload to my profile?
Currently you can upload one photo only to your profile.
Are there any photo restrictions?
Yes! Photo content must be extremely TAME. Nudity, underwear shots or any revealing or sexually suggestive photo will be rejected. We therefore recommend that you upload a head/torso shot only (this also helps other users get a good idea of what you look like!). The image must be of yourself. Please abide by the above and the following guidelines or you could risk being blocked from the service.
- No nudity
- No bare skin below the waistline or above the thighs can be shown.
- Topless shots are permitted, but revealing any underwear or any pubic hair is not.
- No speedos or brief swimwear
- No crotch-only (or backside) images
- No images that reveal outline of genitals
- No images of sexual or sexually suggestive acts
- No images that contain sexual or sexually suggestive paraphernalia
- No images of, or insinuating, violent acts
- No images of, or insinuating drug use
- No advertising

After registering and verifying you can record an audio message by calling the Maleforce chat line from your registered number on 0871 905 5800. Calls cost up to 10p per minute from a BT landline. Call charges may vary if you call from a mobile or another service provider. We recommend calling your telephone company to find out how much they charge for accessing an 0871 number.
Are there any audio content restrictions?
Yes. In order for an audio description to play on your Maleforce Mobile profile it must be completely tame. This means you cannot use explicit or sexually suggestive language. We recommend you treat it as a friendly greeting so other users can hear your voice and learn more about you.

Your exact location is not revealed to other users. Search results indicate distance in meters you are away from the searcher only. Search results are accurate down to just a few meters.
How do I find guys near to me?
Go into the guys section of the app and enter the first half of your postcode when prompted, you will then get a list of guys near you.
How do I search for guys in a location that I'm not currently in?
You can search for guys in an area that you are not currently in by updating your location with a postcode from the area you in which you wish to search.
What is 'Places' ?
Choose Places from the main site menu to locate and view details of gay pubs, bars and clubs wherever you go. Please note! We are currently updating this feature - soon you will be able to check in to any venue to see who's where and let others know you're there! Please keep checking Maleforce.com for updates!

What is a Direct Connect number?
A Direct Connect Number is an 'anonymous' telephone number (similar to a mobile number) that forwards calls to your real mobile or landline phone. Guys who call it will never know your real landline or mobile number. Your Direct Connect Voicebox accompanies the Direct Connect Number and can be activated to take messages when you'd prefer not to take calls. Think of it as your free exclusive dating number.
Can I make calls with a Direct Connect number?
No, a Direct Connect number is for receiving calls only - for people to call you to talk or leave voicemail.
How do I get a Direct Connect number?
Upon registering with the Maleforce website you are issued with your own personal Direct Connect Number absolutely free. Alternatively, you can register for a Direct Connect Number via the Maleforce chat line.
How much does it cost to call a Direct Connect number?
Calls to a Direct Connect Number are charged at a per-minute rate which varies depending upon the caller's network provider. For example when a caller contacts you from a BT landline, the caller is charged 50 pence a minute.
How will other guys know I have a Direct Connect number?
Once you have activated your Direct Connect number it appears on your Maleforce Mobile profile. When you post a Shout message your Direct Connect number will appear alongside it and when you record an audio greeting details of your Direct Connect Number will be heard by guys browsing the Maleforce chatline too. Alternatively, you can give your Direct Connect number out on other websites, in chatrooms, or when you're out and about!
Can I keep my Direct Connect number if I delete my profile?
At the point of deleting your profile the Direct Connect Number you were issued with is also deleted. You can however get a new Direct Connect Number at any time by making a new registration via the Maleforce website or app or by dialing the Maleforce chatline and selecting option 2 from the main menu.
Can I have a Direct Connect number without having a Maleforce profile?
Yes. You can set up a Direct Connect number and voicebox on the Maleforce chatline by selecting option 2 from the main menu.
If I call a Direct Connect number will my real phone number show?
No - Maleforce Direct Connect numbers are private for you and for callers as no personal numbers are displayed. If you call a Direct Connect number from your registered phone number your Direct Connect number will display on their phone.
How do I know if an incoming call is via my Direct Connect number?
If the caller has a Direct Connect number themselves then their Direct Connect Number will show as the caller ID. If the caller is calling you and they are calling you from a phone not registered with the service YOUR Direct Connect number will display. Either way, Direct Connect numbers begin with a prefix 0701 - this identifies that a call is coming through via the Direct Connect service.
Can I block a caller to my Direct Connect number?
Yes, just call your Direct Connect Number and select the prompt which says "Block Last Caller".

Maleforce 'Live Gay Chat' is a gay chat line where you can connect to gay men from all walks of life who like to chat and meet on the phone.
Are the other guys on the phone really live callers?
Yes, all callers you hear on Maleforce are live on the phone at the same time as you.
Can other callers see my telephone number?
Your telephone number can not be seen or obtained by other callers to the service.
How do I use the phone chat service?
Once connected voice prompts will guide you through the service from recording your voice description to browsing other caller descriptions and connecting live 1-2-1 with another caller.
What should I say in my greeting and description?
You only get a few seconds to record your first greeting, so you should simply introduce yourself in a few words, like 'Hi, I'm Matt from London'. Then you'll be prompted to record a longer description which should include a bit more about yourself and what you're into. For example, 'I'm tall, blond, with blue eyes and I'd like to chat with people into clubbing.' Once you've recorded your own descriptions you'll be ready to browse others and respond as you like.
Is my greeting and description kept after I've hung up?
The first and second description greeting messages are saved automatically to save you time the next time you call. You do have the option to erase all greeting messages if you so desire.
How much does it cost to connect to Maleforce Live Gay Chat?
Access costs vary dependent on your network operator. You can also purchase credits on Maleforce.com which allow the cheapest pay-per-minute rates from as low as 4p per min.
Vodaphone, Orange, Three and O2 customers can connect via shortcode 60321at 25p per minute (total cost). All other networks are connected via an 0871 prefix number at cost of 10p per minute plus standard network charges (Please check with your network provider for total call cost).

Maleforce Daypass provides you with 24hrs of access to the Maleforce chatline via a standard rate number. For regular users, this is by far the cheapest way to access Maleforce live chat
